Directions:
Confirm the package no damaged, then take out E. V. D. catheter.
Insert the catheter to lateralcerebral ventriclewith the help of guide wire.
Insert the catheter a little deep again when cerebrospinal fluid flow out.
Fix the catheter on scalp, and then connect it to the drainage system.

Purpose:
E. V. D. catheter is used in continuous drainage for cerebrospinal fluid
(CSF) or sludged blood during the operation to improve neurosurgical
conditions such as CSF circulatory disorder, brain pressure ascent and
ventricular vein extension caused by cerebroma, dropsy of brain, brain
injury and intracranial hemorrhage etc.. It accelerate CSF circulation
and prevent brain pressure ascent.
