BATTERY INSTALLATION：
Requires one standard 9V battery (not included).
Battery compartment is located on the back of the meter.
Open battery door on back of case.
Connect a new 9V battery.
Replace the cover. The meter is now ready for use.

SCANNING IN METAL MODE
Metal can be detected up to 1 1/2 in (38mm)deep. Copper pipe can be detected up to 30mm
Side the switch to the " METAL" position.
Press and hold ON / OFF button. Calibrate the unit in air. Away from metal objects. Position unit flat against wall.
Move the unit slowly from left to right, horizontally across the wall, when the “Metal” LED lights and the unit starts emitting a steady tone (by this the unit detects the edge of metal), mark this spot on the wall .(over top centre of the head of detector.) Move the unit slowly from right to left, horizontally across the wall, mark the spot where metal detects again. Between the two spots is the metal position.

SCANNING IN VOLTAGE MODE
Side the switch to the “VOLTAGE” position.
Press and hold ON/OFF button. Calibrate the unit in air. Away from objects. Position unit flat against wall.
move the unit slowly from left to right, horizontally across the wall, when the “VOLTAGE” LED lights and the unit starts emitting a steady tone (by this the unit detects the live wire), mark this spot on the wall .(over top centre of the head of detector.) Move the unit slowly from right to left, horizontally across the wall, mark the spot where wire live detects again
